Our task: SEO content optimization for European markets

When we were asked to optimize the landing pages for websites in five European countries, our focus was on improving already-translated content in line with SEO considerations and local characteristics. The aim was to increase the ranking of these websites in the respective countries. The websites also needed to prevail against the high level of competition from competing companies, all of which offered their own websites with informative content on the same topic.

Our solution: targeted use of optimal localized keywords

The project was managed centrally from our head office in Berlin and was supported by five local, native-speaking SEO consultants in the target markets. The planning and implementation performed by MONDIS encompassed the entire international SEO content rollout. Taking the previously SEO-optimized English master content and corresponding master keyword set as a starting point, we planned the local keyword research process for 90 main keywords and all associated secondary keywords. Following this, our consultants researched the best translation options in various target markets based on search volume and competition. Finally, the consultants incorporated these local keywords into the content and metadata of the localized landing pages, adhering to optimal keyword density.

The result: more organic traffic on the local SEO landing pages

Since going live in the target markets with the optimized landing pages, Freshworks has achieved higher rankings and improved click-through rates for high-volume keywords. This has resulted in an increase in organic traffic to the individual country websites. Rigorous international project management helped ensure that the project was realised within a tight timeframe.
